A dark golden colour with lively aromas of ripe stone fruits. On the palate it is fresh with notes of apricot, pear and mango. A luscious, velvety texture with very good acidity leads to a long finish.

Gerovassiliou considered at the forefront of the Greek wine renaissance, is a pupil of the famed father of modern oenology Emile Peynaud. In 1981, urged by his love, knowledge and experience in vine-growing and fine wines, Vangelis Gerovassiliou began to renovate the family vineyard and created the Ktima Gerovassiliou. His vineyard of 72ha, on the slopes of Epanomi, is world-class. It is surrounded on three sides by the sea, which is four kilometres distant, while its west side faces Thermaic Gulf and Mount Olympus, and the beaches of Pieria.
