Tasting Notes

Bright blond in colour with greenish shades, it has a distinctive nose with impressions of exotic fruit and notes of green pepper, jasmine, orange, melon and lemon. On the palate it has a rich, round feel with a lemony aftertaste.

Food Pairing

Bouillabaisse, grilled fish, shellfish, ceviche and Japanese cuisine.

Gerovassiliou considered at the forefront of the Greek wine renaissance, is a pupil of the famed father of modern oenology Emile Peynaud. In 1981, urged by his love, knowledge and experience in vine-growing and fine wines, Vangelis Gerovassiliou began to renovate the family vineyard and created the Ktima Gerovassiliou. His vineyard of 72ha, on the slopes of Epanomi, is world-class. It is surrounded on three sides by the sea, which is four kilometres distant, while its west side faces Thermaic Gulf and Mount Olympus, and the beaches of Pieria.
