Biblinos Oenos

Tasting Notes

Dark violet color with tinges of blueberry. On the nose, it is filled with pomegranate, ripe raspberries and rose petals. On the palate, luscious red fruits, chocolate ganache and dried herbs give this wine an elegant structure.

Short rib orzo, portobello mushrooms and skirt steak.

Situated on the southern slopes of Mount Pangeon in Kavala, 100km east of Thessaloniki.  In 1998, the ideal soil and climatic conditions caught the attention of winemakers Vassilis Tsaktsarlis and Vangelis Gerovassiliou. They were inspired to create this privately owned vineyard which today encompasses 65 hectares at an altitude of 380 meters above sea level, drawing the eye to the Aegean Sea in the distance.
